Today it is really raining. There are still tour groups passing by in the square below. We are going to see the mint in Hall. It is where the talor was minted which somehow where the dollar came from. Should be fine and dry in the morning at least.

Caught the bus at the train station. the 1/4 mile walk was a bit wet but we should dry off on the bus and inside the mint. Met a nice couple on the bus from South Carolina. They travel constantly. Sometime with tours. They mentioned Outdoor Adventure Travel as a tour to look into. He mentioned it was too bad the mint was closed on Mondays. He showed be the info guide that stated the hours it was open. This is Monday. This is not good. It is really raining hard now. A nice Austrian lady overheard us all talking and mentioned the next stop was the stop we wanted to get off on. Good thing she said something or we might have kept talking on the warm dry bus.

. Since the mint was closed, we walked through Hall. In the rain. Under our 1 small umbrella. Diane was cold. Her raincoat was not waterproof. Wwent inside several churches. They were dry. It was really raining hard. The camera never made it out of the pocket this morning

The old town is larger than Innsbruck and has more shops that seem more reasonable than the high priced shops that sell a lot of stuff made in China. It is odd that there are so many Asian tour groups and most of the shops in Austria are selling items made in China.

Finally we had enough and caught the bus back to Innsbruck

. Back in Innsbruck we decided to walk through the rain to the local museums that we had not visited this trip. The first three we tried were closed. These were supposed to be open. Finally found 2 that were open.Walked through them quickly.

The rain has slowed to a light mist. Took a walk to the park and had our pciture taken by a camera that should post it on the internet. Walked by the river and saw a church across the rive that needed its picture taken.

Crossed the river over a walking bridge. With al the rain the river was running high and fast. By the time we arrived at the church the sun came out.

The graves are rented for 10 years at a time.

. Spent the evening packing up for the trip to Vienna tomorrow. Diane kept looking out the window at the lady selling sausages. There were usually half adozen people around her truck eating or buying sausages. next time we will need to make sure we are hungry enough to try her food
