Today we woke up to more rain in Innsbruck. So what do you do if it is raining and cold? You do the typical touristy things like visit museums, visit the shops, anything to stay a bit dryer. So off we go to Schloss Ambras Castle.
We did have to wait for the bus, but at least we were protected from the rain.

Schloss Almbras
The castle was pretty with nicely manicured grounds. We enjoyed them from a distance because at this point it was pouring.

The walls in one of the courtyards had very detailed black and white paintings on them.

Spanish Hall
One of the rooms was called the Spanish Hall. Its was lined with paintings of all the Austrian Kings from the time of the Romans. The other side of the room had windows and very detailed paintings on the walls.

. The bus only comes to the Castle every 40 minutes. When we realized the tie we raced through the rain to just catch the bus as it was leaving. We rode the bus back to Innsbruck and walked around the town. The sun actualy decided to grace us with it's presence for a little while. We were able to get some good pictures of some of the old buildings and churches.

On our way back to the hotel, there were some local men who were gathered together in front if the golden roof singing some traditional songs. They were pretty good.

. Back out to climb the clock tower. No elevator to the top of this tower. We had to walk. All 167 steps.
